Lather the soap in your hands or on your skin?

For the face or sensitive areas, lather the soap in your hands. You can better control the amount of lather and avoid rubbing the bar directly on your skin.

1. Why use your hands?

You control the amount of lather and the pressure of the motion. Wet the soap, rotate it between your palms for a few seconds, then set it down. A light lather is enough to clean.

2. Can the soap be applied directly to the body?

Yes, if the motion remains comfortable for you. However, for the face or areas that react easily, hands offer more control. It is never necessary to press hard.

3. Should you get a lot of lather?

No. A spectacular amount of lather does not necessarily clean better. Use just enough product to cover the area, then rinse thoroughly. The soap should not be left on like a mask.

4. Are a washcloth or brush useful?

Not for everyday washing. A rough washcloth or brush adds friction. If your skin feels tight, start by removing them and using only your hands.

5. How should the soap be stored afterward?

Rinse it quickly and place it on a holder that allows water to drain. It will last longer if it dries between uses. Find all the tips in our guide to using bar soap.

In short

In the hands for better dosage; directly on the body only if the motion remains gentle. Little lather, little pressure, and a good rinse are sufficient.
