2. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all distance sales concluded on the www.mapocosmetics.fr website between MÂPÔ Cosmetics and any non-professional consumer (hereinafter "the Customer"), in accordance with Articles L111-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code.

The Customer declares having read these GTCS prior to any order. Validation of the order constitutes unreserved acceptance of these GTCS.

3. Products

The products offered are artisanal cosmetics made by hand in France using cold saponification. Photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible. MÂPÔ Cosmetics cannot be held liable for minor variations in color or appearance inherent to artisanal production.

4. Price

Prices are indicated in euros, including all taxes (TTC). The VAT applicable is that in force on the day of the order.

Delivery costs are indicated separately before final validation of the order and are borne by the Customer, unless a free delivery offer is in effect at the time of the order (currently offered on purchases of €35 or more in Metropolitan France).

MÂPÔ Cosmetics reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced on the basis of the rates in effect at the time of order validation.

5. Ordering

The Customer selects the desired products, validates their cart, enters their delivery information, and proceeds to payment. The order is definitively validated after payment confirmation. An order confirmation is sent by email to the address provided by the Customer.

MÂPÔ Cosmetics reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of insufficient stock, erroneous information, or payment issues.

6. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Transactions are secured via Shopify Payments. Accepted payment methods are displayed at the payment stage.

MÂPÔ Cosmetics does not store any banking data. Payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments, which is PCI-DSS certified.

7. Delivery

Orders are shipped from the Hérault region, France, within 2 to 5 business days after payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

In accordance with Article L216-1 of the Consumer Code, delivery will take place no later than 30 days from the validation of the order. If this deadline is exceeded due to the seller, the Customer may cancel their order and obtain a refund within 14 days.

Delivery costs and times are indicated at the time of ordering according to the geographical area and the shipping method chosen. MÂPÔ Cosmetics declines any responsibility for delays attributable to the carrier or a case of force majeure.

8. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.

Exception — Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code: the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for hygiene or cosmetic products that have been unsealed or opened after delivery, for hygiene reasons. Unsealed products remain returnable.

Procedures for exercising: the Customer notifies their decision to withdraw by email to christellekeuga@gmail.com, using the standard form below or any other unambiguous statement. The refund will take place within 14 days following receipt of the returned products.

Online withdrawal functionality: in accordance with Ordinance No. 2026-2 of January 5, 2026, the Customer may also exercise their right of withdrawal directly online, free of charge, via the "Renoncer au contrat ici" (Renounce the contract here) feature accessible in the footer of the site (www.mapocosmetics.fr/pages/retractation). An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to them on a durable medium.

9. Returns and Refunds

In the event of a validly exercised withdrawal, the Customer returns the products in their original, unopened condition to the address: MÂPÔ Cosmetics — 7, rue des Perdigals, 34160 Sussargues, within 14 days following the notification of withdrawal.

Return costs: return costs are the responsibility of the Customer, unless the product is defective or does not correspond to the order.

The refund will occur within a maximum of 14 days from the receipt of the returned products, using the same payment method used during the order.

10. Legal Warranties

All products benefit by right from:
— The legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the Consumer Code): for 2 years from the delivery of the goods.
— The warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code): the seller is liable for hidden defects that render the good unfit for the use for which it is intended.

11. Liability

MÂPÔ Cosmetics cannot be held liable for damages resulting from improper use of products, failure to follow usage advice, or an allergy not previously reported. It is the Customer's responsibility to check the INCI ingredient list before purchase, especially in the event of known allergies.

12. Personal Data

Personal data collected during the order are processed in accordance with the privacy policy available in the Legal Notices of the site. They are used for the processing and tracking of the order, and are not transmitted to third parties for commercial purposes.

13. Mediation and Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact MÂPÔ Cosmetics first by email at christellekeuga@gmail.com in order to seek an amicable solution within a reasonable time.

Failing an amicable resolution within 2 months, the Customer may have free recourse to the consumer mediator appointed by MÂPÔ Cosmetics, in accordance with Articles L616-1 and R616-1 of the Consumer Code:

In accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013, the Customer may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

In the absence of an amicable resolution, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction.

14. Applicable Law

These GTCS are subject to French law. They are written in French, which shall prevail in the event of translation.
